"The Cuba-Indy Relationship: Building Church Solidarity."

Lynn Renner joined Catholic Relief Services (CRS) in 1972 and has served the agency in many roles. Renner currently serves as regional representative for the Caribbean/Cuba country manager, supporting CRS programs in the Caribbean and directing the agency’s work in Cuba, in partnership with the Cuban Catholic Church. He is based at CRS headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.

Renner served in the Peace Corps in Colombia, South America, where he started his CRS career and continued to work and reside throughout the 70s and 80s. He has served as CRS country representative in Chile, Peru, the Dominican Republic, and Guatemala. In 1994, he took on the role of planned giving director for CRS in Baltimore, leading the agency’s strategy to offer donors long-term giving options.

He holds a B.A. in modern languages (Spanish) from Butler University, and an M.A. in Latin American studies from Indiana University.
