This event is being held in conjunction with the Indianapolis Civic Theatre's production of Golda's Balcony.

Golda's Balcony The rise of Golda Meir from impoverished Russian schoolgirl to American school teacher to Prime Minister of Israel is one of the most amazing stories of the 20th century. Tony Award-winning playwright William Gibson, author of The Miracle Worker , has created an engaging one-woman drama of war and peace. The complex multi-media show follows the trajectory of Meir's life as an intriguing backdrop for a dramatic look at history, idealism and power. The play focuses on the events surrounding the 1973 Yom Kippur War when Israel is attacked by Egypt and Syria. Faced with a crisis that could in fact change world history,  Meir reflects on her past, her rise to international politics, and the many difficult choices she made in both her political and private life.
