Please review the education section you just completed very carefully. If you have questions, please contact the MAP office before submitting this application. It is imperative that all colleges, universities, and technical/trade schools be listed regardless of dates of attendance or whether academic credit was earned or is transferable.

Admission decisions are based on the GPA from the most recent regionally accredited post secondary institution. If you have not attended college, the admission decision is based on the high school GPA. 

Official transcripts (GED or high school, and college) are required. If you have earned 12 or more credits from a regionally accredited institution, you are not required to submit your high school transcript. Transcripts must be mailed to Marian's Adult Programs directly from the institution. Transcripts become the property of Marian University and are non-returnable. Students who cannot obtain official transcripts because of a financial encumbrance will be denied admission. 

Training Programs and College Credit Exams
Official transcripts for training programs and college credit exams are not required for admission; however, they may be submitted directly to the MAP admission counselor for credit evaluation. Examples include military documents, DD214, LOMA, CLEP/DSST exams, and programs approved by the American Council on Education (ACE). In order for these programs to be evaluated, students must request that an official transcript be sent directly to the admission counselor from the institution or the American Council on Education. Credit awarded will be determined by the Office of the Registrar.
  • It is in the student's best interest to submit all documentation prior to class registration so that the student does not take unnecessary courses. Marian University will not issue additional credit for duplicate courses.
  • Please note: All academic documents must be evaluated and credit awarded by Marian University prior to the student's last 30 (15) credit hours in the bachelor's (associate's) degree program at Marian University.
Tuition and Payment Options
MAP tuition is subject to change and is currently $310 per credit hour. Most MAP classes are three or four credit hours. To accommodate your individual needs, please indicate your choice(s) for payment options.
