Academic Peer Mentoring

Designed to engage and empower first year scholars as they begin their college experience at Marian University, the first-year mentoring program connects first-year students with upperclassmen who serve as mentors throughout the academic year. Representing a variety of majors, Academic Peer Mentors are aware of Marian University’s resources, have been specially trained to help students transition to university life, and report to CASE staff members.

Academic Peer Mentors will contact their mentees the week prior to classes starting.

Marian University will be introducing an Academic Peer Mentoring for the fall 2015 semester.  Students interested in participating in the program as mentors should complete the mentee form by July 24, 2015.
