Cliff Oldham

Cliff Oldham holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Abilene Christian University and a master of arts in English from Indiana University. He is completing his doctorate in English at Indiana University in American Literature, Composition, and Adult Literacy. He serves as director of Marian University’s Writing Center and teaches a variety of special topic literature courses, composition classes, and professional writing, all while drawing upon his writing consulting experience in several fields. Cliff also coordinates the English composition lab hour.

Oldham is active in regional K-16 teacher organizations, including Indiana Teachers of Writing and the National Writing Project. His research focuses on literacy issues, on ideological shifts in the American novel, and on outdoor literature, specifically in the ways it connects nature to male identity, friendship, and spirituality.
