Knight Fusion Singers to Host FAME Orlando

by Libby Hearn | Mar 05, 2015

Knight FusionThe Marian University Knight Fusion Singers will travel to Orlando, Florida where they will host FAME Orlando at Universal City Walk/Hard Rock Café Theater on March 21, 2015. Knight Fusion will also perform at Downtown Disney on March 19 and visit the Disney Parks during their free time.

FAME is a company that hosts a series of events called the “National Show Choir Championship Series.” With events in Branson, Hollywood, Orlando, New York, and Chicago, high schools from some of the best programs in the country compete on the national stage in hopes that they will qualify to appear in the National Championship competition in April.

Knight Fusion members will serve as the hosts of the competition and will work throughout the day assisting choirs, selling merchandise and stage managing. While Knight Fusion is not competing at the event, the group will perform in exhibition immediately before the awards ceremony in front of a crowd of over 2,000 people.

Knight Fusion was invited to return to host after an extremely well-received and successful performance last year at the Chicago event. The experience and exposure this gives the students and the university is invaluable. Knight Fusion and information about our scholarships and academic programs at Marian will also be featured in the FAME program which will be distributed at each FAME event across the country.  Knight Fusion is humbled and grateful to be able to offer this experience to our students and to share with the national show choir community the great things happening at Marian University. This performance aligns with the choir’s mission to Inspire. Entertain. and Educate. through choral music.
