Groundbreaking and Naming Ceremony for New Medical School

Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 5:15 p.m. under the tent south of Steffen Music Center.
Marian University will officially break ground for the new building on campus that will house the College of Osteopathic Medicine and the School of Nursing. The building will be named in honor of the generous individual who helped the university start the project. He will be introduced during the ceremony, which will be attended by Indianapolis mayor Greg Ballard and U.S. Senator Dan Coats.   Wednesday, August 24, 2011 at 5:15 p.m. In the tent south of Steffen Music Center (building 23 on thecampus map) on the Marian University campus.   Parking: all campus visitors will be directed to park at the Lake Sullivan Sports Complex at 3649 Cold Spring Road just north of campus. Free shuttles will be available starting at 4 p.m. and will run throughout the evening.   Changes in Healthcare: A Community Forum sponsored by Community Health Network and Inside Indiana Business begins at 7 p.m. Health care screenings begin at 6 p.m. For more information, visit
