Archbishop Joseph W. Tobin will be on campus to celebrate Mass and bless the chapel in the Michael A. Evans Center for Health Sciences on September 11. The Mass begins at 10 a.m. in the Bishop Chartrand Memorial Chapel in Marian Hall.

Immediately following Mass, a procession will move from the chapel to the Evans Center where Archbishop Tobin will bless the chapel in the Evans Center.

The chapel is being dedicated to the Blessed Virgin Mary, patroness of Marian University, under the title "Our Lady of Perpetual Help." An icon of Our Lady of Perpetual Help will be blessed by the archbishop immediately following Mass. The icon will be carried in the procession to the Evans Center where it will be placed in the new chapel.

All faculty, staff, students, alumni, and friends of Marian University are invited to attend the Mass and blessing.
