Marian University Alumnus Lands Television Role

According to The Indianapolis Star, Marian University alumnus Andre Hall has landed a role in the new Tyler Perry sitcom “Love Thy Neighbor.” The program debuts Wednesday, May 29 on cable television’s Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).

Hall is a 2003 graduate of Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis who studied at Purdue University before transferring to Marian University to play baseball. Hall has been working in Hollywood, appearing in a couple of commercials, but this is his first major role. It’s also his initial foray into comedy.

Hall plays the character “Danny,” an unmotivated college graduate.  He will tape at least 26 episodes at Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta, Georgia.
