Marian University continues to earn recognition among Indiana colleges and universities, with the 2027 Niche rankings placing Marian among the state's leaders in nursing education, Catholic higher education and value.
Marian ranks 2nd among Indiana colleges for nursing and 2nd among the state's Catholic colleges, according to Niche's latest rankings. The university also climbed eight spots in the Best Value Colleges in Indiana category, moving from 22nd last year to 14th this year.
The recognition extends nationally. Marian ranks among the top 60 Catholic colleges in America and 58th among 796 colleges for nursing, placing the university in the top 7% nationally. Marian also rose significantly in Niche's Best Value Colleges in America ranking, moving from 468th to 307th among 1,450 institutions.

Niche develops its college rankings using data from sources such as the U.S. Department of Education, along with student and alumni reviews. Its rankings cover areas ranging from academics and value to campus life and individual academic programs.
Additional 2027 Niche rankings place Marian 14th in Indiana for student life and 17th for academics.
