Dr. Natalie Tucker, Ph.D., Vice President and Dean of Marian University Plymouth, has been named a finalist in the 2026 Influential Women Awards, which recognize women whose leadership, professional achievements, and service are making a lasting impact across Northwest Indiana.
Presented by the Northwest Indiana Influential Women Association, the awards honor outstanding women across 13 industries, including education. This year, nearly 500 women were nominated, and approximately 200 were selected as finalists after a competitive application and review process.
"We are proud to see Dr. Tucker recognized as one of Northwest Indiana's most influential leaders," said Dr. Kenith Britt, Chief Operating Officer and Chancellor of Marian University. "Her commitment to education, student success, and service reflects Marian University's mission and the difference she makes in others' lives every day."
The Influential Women Awards, now in their 15th year, honor women who demonstrate excellence in their professions while mentoring others, strengthening their communities, and inspiring future leaders.
Award winners will be announced during the Influential Women Awards banquet on Sept. 24 at Avalon Manor in Merrillville.
In addition to awards presented across 13 industries, the program recognizes the Overall Influential Woman of the Year, Overall Up-and-Coming Influential Woman of the Year, Community Leader of the Year, and Supporter of the Year.
