Madison Lowe Appointed PTK Indiana Regional Secretary

Earlier this spring, Madison Lowe ran for the position of Phi Theta Kappa Indiana Regional President at the organization's annual conference. The election was one of the closest of the weekend. After two rounds of voting that ended in a tie, the Regional Officer Team cast the deciding votes. Madison missed the position by just a few votes.

Just a few months later, the PTK Indiana Region Board of Advisors approved a succession plan after a regional officer resigned. As part of that plan, Madison was offered the position of Regional Secretary, which she accepted.

As Regional Secretary, Madison will help coordinate communication between PTK chapters across Indiana, maintain official records, assist with conferences and events, and support the Regional Officer Team throughout the year.

As a nursing student and Certified Nursing Assistant, Madison is passionate about serving others through leadership and compassion.

"Leadership is built on service, collaboration, and creating opportunities for others to succeed," Madison said. "As I continue my nursing education, I hope to combine my passion for healthcare with my commitment to leadership while making a positive impact across Indiana PTK."
