Marian University's newest osteopathic medical students were recently introduced to one of the profession's most important principles: service.
During the Tom and Julie Wood College of Osteopathic Medicine's annual Day of Service, 168 incoming medical students partnered with Home Repairs for Good to complete home repairs and yardwork for older adults and individuals with disabilities across Indianapolis' Near Northwest Side. The event reflects Marian's commitment to training physicians who understand that caring for others begins long before a patient enters an exam room.
