Dr. Sumathi Velavan Renewed as National Fellow for Excellence in Osteopathic Medical Education

The American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine announced the latest NAOME Fellows during its annual conference. Dr. Velavan was recognized in the Teaching and Evaluation category, continuing her fellowship for a second five-year term following her initial induction in 2021.

NAOME is a service-focused academy of distinguished educators who help advance osteopathic medical education through mentorship, scholarship, collaboration, and the development of best practices across colleges of osteopathic medicine.
