Where Careers Take Flight: Marian University Hosts Career and Internship Fair

For Marian University students, the journey from classroom to career often starts right on campus. At this year’s Career and Internship Fair, held February 11 at Alumni Hall and hosted by The Exchange, 44 employers gathered to meet students, share opportunities, and connect talent with industries ranging from finance and logistics to sales and supply chain.

For students eager to make professional connections, the fair is more than just handing out resumes; it’s a chance to explore potential careers, practice networking, and even land full-time positions after graduation.

“They’re using it absolutely as a pipeline,” said Jenny Morris, Executive Director of The Exchange. “Students are trying on employers, and employers are trying on students. These often become full-time opportunities for the strongest candidates.”

The popularity of the all-majors fair is evident: a waiting list of companies underscores the demand and highlights Marian University’s commitment to career readiness.

Beyond connecting with employers, students can take professional headshots, practice conversations with recruiters, and gain experience stepping outside their comfort zones. Every handshake, discussion, and LinkedIn connection plays a part in transforming academic learning into a real-world opportunity.

For many Marian students, the Career and Internship Fair is more than an event; it’s the first step toward a rewarding career.
