Marian University celebrates Briannah Bieghler ’17, and M.A. ‘24, who was recognized at the Indiana Chamber of Commerce Impact Awards Luncheon as the 2026 College Career Development Professional of the Year.
The statewide honor recognizes outstanding career development professionals who expand student access to meaningful internships, employment pathways, and professional growth opportunities. At Marian University, Briannah’s work with The Exchange has transformed how students connect classroom learning to career success.
Through close collaboration with faculty, individualized coaching sessions with students, and her leadership in launching and growing the Career Development Fund, Briannah has helped remove financial and structural barriers that can stand between students and opportunity. Her efforts ensure that Marian students are not only career-ready but also opportunity-ready.
According to Briannah, “At The Exchange, we encourage students to be Exchange Empowered, to advocate for themselves while removing barriers to professional development experiences through initiatives like the Career Development Fund. This allows students to pursue their career journeys with confidence, while knowing they have our support along the way."
