First-year student Gabbi Mawby has already made an impressive impact at Marian University. A passionate dancer, faith-driven leader, and dedicated community builder, Gabbi has wasted no time immersing herself in campus life.
She balances an active schedule as a member of the Campus Activities Board (CAB), the Freshman Class Board, Delight Ministries, and Knights for Life, while also participating in the San Damiano Scholars program. Beyond her many campus involvements, Gabbi showcases her talents as part of Marian’s competitive dance team.
Inspired to share her love of dance and connection with others, Mawby founded and now serves as president of Knightly Rhythms, a new student-led club that invites participants to explore different dance styles in a welcoming environment. “It combined my love for dance and people,” Gabbi shared, “and created a space where students can connect and express themselves creatively.”
Mawby’s energy, enthusiasm, and leadership already exemplify what it means to be a Marian Knight. Her journey is just beginning—but she’s clearly stepping into it with rhythm, purpose, and heart.
