Great news from Marian University’s Marketing Sales program. Business major Avery Toole ’26 has achieved remarkable success, being named a Regional Champion in the Fastenal National Sales Invitational. Out of more than 1,000 students across the country, Avery advanced to the national finals as one of just 17 outstanding competitors, a testament to her skill, perseverance, and dedication to the art of sales.
Guided by the expert coaching of Marian’s Professor of Marketing, Lori Rumreich and supported by the mentorship of Professors Bob Kubacki and Ron Bendes, Avery’s journey showcases the strength of our sales education program and the passion of our students. Her accomplishment not only highlights her personal excellence but also reflects the collaborative spirit that defines our community of learners and leaders.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to apply my sales strategy and relationship management skills in a professional setting,” Toole explained. “My coaches, Dr. Lori Rumreich, Brandon Killingbeck, and Jared England, have guided me with valuable feedback throughout each round. I’m excited to represent our program in the final round November 17–20 and look forward to the finalist ceremony on November 21.”
With her sights now set on the national finals, Avery continues to inspire and represent Marian’s program with exceptional professionalism. Congratulations to our Shining Star Avery and her mentors for this tremendous achievement!
