24 High School Students Can Earn College Credit This Fall at Marian University's Ancilla College

A teacher presenting materials to students in a classroom setting.High-school juniors and seniors now have the chance to get ahead on their college education through Marian University's Ancilla College Advanced Study Program. This program is open to students who have completed their sophomore year of high school. It allows eligible high-school students to take evening college courses for just $25 per credit hour. A typical three-credit class costs only $75, making it an affordable way to earn transferable college credit before graduating from high school.

Courses available this fall include:

  • • Theory of Speed & Athletic Development (ESS 245) – Tuesdays, 6:30–9 p.m.
  • • Scientific Principles of Strength & Conditioning (ESS 375) – Mondays, 6:30–9 p.m.
  • • Human Growth & Development (PSY 220) – Mondays, 6:30–9 p.m.

To be eligible, students must be under nineteen years of age, have a 3.0 GPA, and be a current high-school junior or senior.

Credits earned at Marian University apply toward Marian University degrees and are typically transferable to other institutions. Students may transfer up to 36 credit hours.
