Marian University’s Jonathan Lowery, Ph.D., Earns National Certification in Research Administration

Jonathan Lowery, Ph.D., Assistant Provost for Research & Scholarship at Marian University, has earned the prestigious Practice of Research Administration and Management (PRAM) certificate from the Society of Research Administrators International (SRAI).

The PRAM certificate is a rigorous professional development program tailored for senior research administrators and academic leaders with significant experience in research oversight. The curriculum emphasizes strategic leadership in research management, focusing on faculty support, innovation, organizational integrity, and the responsible stewardship of research programs.

At Marian University, Dr. Lowery leads the institution’s growing research enterprise, overseeing the Offices of Sponsored Programs & Research, Research Operations, Integrity & Compliance, and Undergraduate Research. He also holds a tenured faculty position in the Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine and directs a National Institutes of Health (NIH)-funded research program focused on musculoskeletal physiology.
