Maddie Dexter lives in Drew Hall and is a sophomore double majoring in history and secondary education with minors in pastoral leadership, Spanish, and philosophy. In her spare time, Maddie enjoys hanging out with her friends, going
for walks, and just being with people. To Maddie, her faith life completes her personal life. It has kept her going through both the bad and the good times. Through Peer Ministry, Maddie hopes that she can help others see that God is with them
through it all and help them explore their own faith.
Mackenzie Foye is a sophomore religious education major and Spanish minor living in University Hall. Some of her favorite things are listening to country music, having solo-dance parties in her room, and hanging out with friends.
She loves praise and worship music and has a deep devotion to Mother Mary. She looks forward to joining others in discipleship through Peer Ministry and hopes that everyone can learn more about themselves.
Connor Heard resides in Clare Hall and is a sophomore history major with minors in philosophy and pastoral leadership. His faith and the Bible have greatly impacted his life from how he views social issues to who he chooses as friends.
Through peer ministry, Connor hopes to work on something he is passionate about and share his passion with others.
Maria Jasek is a sophomore majoring in Elementary Education and lives in Drew Hall. She is involved with College Mentors for Kids and Sacred Choir. During her free time, you can find Maria singing, playing ukulele, camping, hiking,
and spending time with friends and family. Through Peer Ministry, Maria enjoys praying with others, listening to them, and helping them in their walk of faith. She finds great joy in her relationship with God and her commitment to loving others
and is strengthened through prayer and the sacraments.
Elizabeth Kassab is a sophomore majoring in English education and resides in University Hall. During her free time, she enjoys watching movies, reading, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. She is involved
in Sacred Choir, San Damiano Scholars Program, Honors Academy, 21st Century Scholars, and Fiat. Elizabeth enjoys meeting new people through Peer Ministry because it is an opportunity for her to encounter Christ in them and hopes that others can
do the same.
Joel Kelley is a junior Catholic Studies and Spanish double-major who lives in Drew Hall, though you can often find him throwing a disc out by the fountain! Joel finds meaning and joy in the relationships that he has made as a result
of his Peer Ministry position. He believes that he participates in the love of Jesus through these seemingly simple friendships, and he hopes to emulate positive mentors that developed him as a Christian and person. Joel believes that through
his work as a Peer Minister he can continue to build a community of fellowship, life, and faith here at Marian University.
Clare Kneblik resides in Clare Hall and majors in nutrition, fitness, and wellness with a pastoral leadership minor. As a Sophomore, she loves coffee, working out, and spending lots of time with friends and family. Clare plays guitar
and piano, and finds her faith most through music and worship. Through peer ministry, she hopes to see people’s faith become more alive through unity and fellowship on campus!
Anne Marie McGarvey is a sophomore. Elementary Education major with a Pastoral Leadership minor. While living in University Hall, you can find Anne Marie playing her guitar and ukulele, reading, and watching movies. She also loves
spending time with her friends and family. As a peer minister, Anne Marie hopes to be a tangible resource for those who need a partner on their faith journey or just a friend.
Moira Metz Is a sophomore elementary education major and pastoral leadership minor who resides in Clare Hall. She enjoys watching a good movie or reading a great book and going outside. She calls her faith in God, Jesus, and the
Gospel her bedrock. She wants to serve others personal needs through Peer ministry and a companion on the journey.
Abigail Riehle majors in Elementary Education. Living in Drew Hall, she is the head chair for the CAB Special Events Committee and a member of the Knights for Life. When she isn’t doing school, Abigail likes to watch YouTube/Netflix
as well as visiting friends, playing board games, and listening to music. Jesus has been a huge part of her life since kindergarten and hopes to help others become closer to God through Peer Ministry.
Patrick Scheidler lives in Drew Hall and is a sophomore double majoring in elementary education and special education with minors in pastoral leadership and psychology. When he is not doing homework, he is in the weight room, which
is a great stress reliever for him. A bible verse that has impacted Patrick’s life is Joshua 1:9. He looks forward to working with other students through Peer Ministry, as he thinks it is one of the most important jobs on campus.
Sarah Jane Smith is a sophomore commuter studying psychology with a pastoral leadership minor. Sarah Jane enjoys hanging around campus with her friends, especially in the Ecolab. One of her favorite ways to pray is through prayer
of intention, praying for others and what they need. With peer ministry, Sarah Jane wants to fellowship and outreach groups to those on campus.
Grace Von Lehman is a sophomore English and secondary education major with a pastoral leadership minor. In her free time, Grace likes to explore new places, dance, read, sew, and hang out with her siblings. Some of her spiritual
charisms include hospitality and pastoral care. She loves welcoming others into the group and this is what she hopes to accomplish through peer ministry.
