Residence Life Policies

Community living is an important part of the overall college experience. In order for community living to be successful, students agree to certain policies and details set forth within the housing contract. Completing an on-campus housing contract implies understanding of and consenting to all policies. Students are responsible for viewing and understanding this information.

  • All single undergraduate students must live on campus unless their Parent’s or legal guardian’s homes are included in the following list of counties to commute: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Shelby.
  • Students must be registered for classes (12 credits) in order to move in to campus housing.
  • Students who have attained their 21st birthday on or before August 31 may request to be approved to live off campus through the Office of Housing and Residence Life to live elsewhere off campus.
