The Life Science Education Center at Marian College
The Life Science Education Center at Marian College (LSEC) provides science education programs for Pre K–12th grade students. LSEC reaches thousands of students with standards-based, hands-on programs through workshops, interactive videoconferences, after-school programs, Scout programs, and other program formats. Included among the formats are environmental experiences at the Marian College EcoLab.
Each environmental experience at the Marian College EcoLab provides an opportunity for students to explore nature and to get hands-on experience in ecological restoration through participation in a service project such as native plant installation, seed collection and sowing, and invasive plant removal.
Programs are open to school groups, community organizations, Scout troops, home school groups, and any groups, no matter how small, who want to experience nature in an interesting and meaningful way. To schedule a program, contact LSEC at 317.524.7700 or lseceducation@marian.edu . Or visit our website at www.lifescienceed.org .
