Jeanette DeBruhl, M.Ed.

Biography

Jeanette DeBruhl is an Academic Advisor in the Leighton School of Nursing at Marian University. She advises the pre-nursing, nursing, and on campus accelerated program students. Mrs. DeBruhl earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Middle Grades Language Arts and Social Studies Education from North Carolina State University in Raleigh NC. After teaching fifth grade Social Studies she returned to NC State and earned a Master’s degree in Counseling with a focus in College Student Personnel. She has a particular interest in working with First Generation College students.  In addition to advising Jeanette serves on several departmental and campus wide committees. She is also a member of the National Academic Advising Association.
