Sherry Jimenez, Ed.D.
Sherry Jimenez, Ed.D. is the Assistant Dean for Educational Development at Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Indianapolis, Indiana. Dr. Jimenez specializes in student learning outcomes and assessment, curricular improvement, faculty professional development, strategic planning, and accreditation management.
She is the 2013 winner of the St. John Fisher College, Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. - Exemplary Performance in Service Award and the 2010 Nazareth College - Excellence in Management Award. Dr. Jimenez also wrote a grant proposal in 2010 to the Henry Schein Cares Foundation and was awarded $69,000 in medical supplies and equipment for the Pune, India medical clinic. The clinic cares for the undeserved in Pune and is operated by a physician and various medical, nursing and pharmacy students completing clinical rotations. Her dissertation research focused on curricular improvement and was a study of geriatric content in U.S. Doctor of Pharmacy Degree curricula. Dr. Jimenez is also on the Board of Directors for the American Frontiers International Education Foundation (AFIEF) whose mission is to increase the accessibility of U.S. education internationally to underprivileged students.
She is a native of Upstate New York and currently resides with her husband and youngest son in Carmel, Indiana. Dr. Jimenez has a passion for student success, is involved with various service/mission projects, and also enjoys biking, reading, and hiking with her family and two Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
