Campus-Based Programs Admissions

The programs prepare the student for the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX-RN). Marian University cannot guarantee eligibility for the NCLEX-RN to any student who has been convicted of a crime or felony. The decision regarding who may take the NCLEX-RN examination rests with the Indiana State Board of Nursing.

Once students are admitted to Marian University and have successfully completed necessary course work students make application to the clinical rotation. When seeking admission, applicants must meet with the School of Nursing academic advisor. Application deadlines are prior to the semester for which students are applying. Admission to clinical nursing courses is competitively based on the clinical admission decision tree. For detailed information on the specifics of this policy, contact the School of Nursing at 317.955.6250. Please note that curriculum is subject to change.
