Marian University Sponsors WTHR Health and Fitness Expo

For the third year, Marian University will sponsor the WTHR Health and Fitness Expo on Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days.

The event will be two days filled with celebrity appearances, live exercise, free health screenings, dance and cooking demonstrations, and a kid’s zone.

Marian University’s booth at the expo will include a variety of interactive demonstrations for kids and families, from infant care education, coloring activities, education about Marian University programs, and more.  Also, stop by the WTHR Screening Zone to have a health screening performed by one of our medical or nursing students. Marian University students will screen for blood pressure, body mass index, glucose, and cholesterol.

NBC’s The Biggest Loser trainers Jessie Pavelka and Jennifer Widerstrom will make an appearance on Sunday, bringing their motivation and life-changing principals to the people of central Indiana. Other celebrity appearances will include

Marian University College of Osteopathic Medicine students will also be hosting the Celebration of Wellness 5K on Saturday, April 25 to kick-off the event.
