Michael L. Kuchera, DO, professor and chair of osteopathic manipulative medicine at Marian University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM), has been named one of four Fellows for the National Academy of Osteopathic Medical Educators (NAOME).

NAOME Fellows are inducted into the academy each year to serve a five-year term. As a Fellow, Dr. Kuchera will function as a leader and mentor for academic scholarship and excellence within the osteopathic medical education community. He will serve from 2013-2018.

“Dr. Kuchera has already been named a fellow for his academic accomplishments. This fellowship recognizes his national expertise in ‘enduring materials,’ which is for his textbooks and publications,” said Dr. Paul Evans, dean of MU-COM.  “We are very proud to have Dr. Kuchera at Marian University and he is a welcome addition to our College of Osteopathic Medicine.
