Marian University Cycling Knights to defend Cyclocross title, seek 20th national championship

by Julie Adams | Jan 08, 2013
The Marian University Cycling Knights will defend their 2012 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championship in Madison, Wisconsin January 11 through 13.  The CX team will be departing from the Paul J. Norman Cycling Center on the Marian University Campus at 8:30 a.m. EST, Thursday, January 10.  Please stop by and wish them good luck as they leave for Madison on Thursday morning.

During the past month, some of Marian University’s top riders— Josh Johnson, along with teammates Danny Gerow, Drew Dillman, and Kaitie Antonneau—have been racing for Team USA in World Cup cyclocross races in Europe. All four of these riders are world-level competitors, excellent students, and gracious ambassadors for Marian University. See Josh’s blog post for additional information and photos, and check out this video of Josh winning the December 16 Indy Cycloplex race.
