TheBlue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps is one of Drum Corps International’s (DCI) original drum corps. Based out of La Crosse, Wisconsin, they have endured tremendous success through the years, being a consistent DCI World Championships Finalist in their respective class. Paying homage to their rich heritage, the Blue Stars have risen in the ranks in the past decade to become one of DCI’s hottest drum corps, competing with pride and determination each season for the world championship.   In preparation for their 2011 competition season, the Blue Stars have taken up temporary residency on the campus of Marian University for their annual spring training. Practicing from sun up to sun down, these young adults show high levels of work ethic and dedication to their art with every step they take. Marian University is proud to have the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps stay with us, and would like to invite you to come witness their hard work in person.   On Sunday, June 5, at 7 p.m. the Blue Stars will give an exhibition performance of their 2011 competition production "ReBourne." They will play selections from the Bourne trilogy of movies onSt.Vincent Health Field on the campus of Marian University. The event is open to the public and admission is free!
