This year has been particularly difficult for many, MAP students included. Company downsizing for some, reduction in the number of hours worked for others, and loss or change of tuition assistance programs for many. The economic climate is uncertain at best. However, there are two certainties. The cost of education will not decline, but opportunities for career advancement will without a college degree.   We encourage all students to explore theFederal Government financial resourcesthat are available. For step-by-step instructions on how to apply for financial aid, review theApplying for Financial Aidinformation on the MAP web site.Almost everyone can qualify for a low-interest student loan. Those students who have tuition reimbursement can use the loan monies to supplement their employer paid benefits.   Rather than giving up or slowing down, take action to ensure that you can continue with your education now. Talk to your advisor or a financial aid representative today.
