In a ceremony held April 25, 2010, in Indianapolis Civic Theatre at Marian University, MAP student Tawnya McCrary, was recognized in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges for 2009-10. McCrary earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration in May 2010.
McCrary has demonstrated the attributes necessary to be successful, not only as a student, but as an individual. During the course of her studies in MAP, McCrary maintained an excellent academic standing while juggling a full-time job and children at home. In a recent publication, McCrary stated “I have learned to literally take life one second, one minute, one hour, and then one day at a time. This is how I truly live and enjoy life.” McCrary has recently written and published her first book, Woman to Woman, one she hopes can be an inspiration to all women.
