Alumni, Students Volunteer in Oldenburg for Knights Called to Serve

by Karen McNulty | May 16, 2014

The 2014 Knights Called to Serve event took a group of 16 Marian University students, staff, and alumni to Oldenburg, Indiana to work on Michaela Farm with the Sisters of St. Francis, Oldenburg.

The group began their day with a student-led prayer service in the Marian Hall Chapel after which they headed to the farm. The group worked together to beautify two flowerbeds on the property, removing weeds and rocks from the soil to make way for new plants. After working through the afternoon, they headed home to Marian University.

To get involved in Knights Called to Serve, save the date for next year: Saturday, April 25, 2015!
