Head Volleyball Coach Selected for AVCA 2014 Thirty Under 30 Award

by Katie Bradley | Mar 19, 2014

The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) has named Ashlee Pritchard, Marian University head volleyball coach, a 2014 Thirty Under 30 award recipient for her passion and dedication to coaching.

“I want to be able to give back to the sport and help train young women in hopes that they will have the same love. But more importantly, a person can learn so much about life through athletics. The goal of any of my programs is that my athletes can take the lessons that they have learned on the court and apply them off the court, to be the best person they can be,” said Pritchard.

This fall, Pritchard will enter her third season at Marian University. In her second season, Pritchard led the Knights to an 18-11 record.  Prior to coming to Marian University in 2012, she was the assistant volleyball coach at Taylor University (2009-12), where she also served as assistant director of athletics for event management.
