Alternative Break Inspires Ministry, Service

For many students, spring break is a vacation, a chance to step away from the stresses of daily life. But last year, Mary Carper and Kaylee Bluethmann (now sophomores) embarked on Marian University’s alternative spring break to Campton, Kentucky, and their experience wasn’t exactly a walk on the beach. Perhaps for the first time in their lives, the young women witnessed abject poverty - hungry people, living in a food desert, their lives oftentimes made even more complicated by a lack of education, drug addiction, and alcohol abuse.

Nursing Information Session

This session is designed for students interested in pursuing nursing as a career. A School of Nursing advisor, a representative from the online nursing program, and a counselor from the Office of Admission will share information on the following programs:

  • Traditional BSN Program
  • Accelerated Campus Based BSN Program
  • Accelerated Online BSN Program

  • Tuesday, July 09, 2013

The sessions begin at 6 p.m. and are held on the Marian University campus at the Office of Admission (Stokely Mansion).  All sessions last about one hour and there is no reservation necessary.
