A New Manager for Lake Sullivan

Marian University became the manager of the Lake Sullivan Sports Complex, home of the Major Taylor Velodrome, on Wednesday, April 27, 2011. With support from Indianapolis mayor Greg Ballard and the Indianapolis City County Council, the university is now ready to begin a new era for this amazing venue. Many opportunities exist to promote health and fitness to residents of all ages, as well as create a nationally recognized competitive cycling facility that can host road, cyclocross, BMX, and track cycling events. With the addition of a cycling training center, it will become a one-of-a-kind facility in the U.S.

Summer 2011 Schedule

This summer, the BMX track will be closed for renovation. We are also using this time to renovate and add to the cyclocross course.
