Liturgical and Music Ministry

Most of these ministries are open to Catholics and non-Catholics alike!

  • Lectors 
    Read scripture at mass (all faiths).
  • Eucharistic Ministers 
    Distribute bread and cup at mass.
  • Servers 
    Assist priest during mass.
  • Greeters/ Ushers 
    Greet people, pass out programs or books, take up collection (all faiths).
  • Art and Environment 
    Decorate chapel, set up bread and wine for mass (all faiths).

Music Ministry 
Music ministers lead music at liturgies, enhance congregational singing, and inspire participation and prayer by the use of their talents and abilities.

  • Instrumental 
    Accompany congregational singing and playing solo and group pieces. 

    Players Needed: 
    keyboard, piano, organ, guitar, bass guitar, violin, flute, drums, bagpipe, trumpet, saxophone, clarinet, etc.
  • Vocal-General Choir
    Sing at all school masses. 
  • Sacred Choir 
    An auditioned group that rehearses once a week and performs special selections at masses. 
  • Cantor 
    Leader of song and prayer at masses, auditioned.
