Cap and gowns

All students should pick up their gowns as soon as possible if you have not yet done so. The bookstore will be open Friday from 9-4 p.m.

Contact the bookstore located in the library at 955-6314 if you have any questions or issues with your cap, gown or hood (masters students should receive a hood).

If you missed the Commencement rehearsal 

You can obtain the envelope with your tickets, honors tassel (if earned), and documents distributed at the rehearsal by stopping by the Office of the Registrar in Marian Hall room 104 on Friday between the hours of 8-4:30 p.m. on Friday. You can obtain the documents now by going to the graduation related documents tab to the left.  Please arrive by 8:45 a.m. on Saturday morning to allow time to find your assigned seat.  Please note that guests must have tickets to watch the ceremony from the PE Center if severe weather causes the ceremony to be moved indoors. Tickets are not required for the ceremony at the St. Vincent Football Field or to watch the ceremony from the Marian University Theatre or the library. 

If Please arrive to the PE Center at 8:45 a.m. Saturday morning 

Students should arrive at the PE Center at 8:45 a.m. on Saturday morning for the outdoor ceremony. We will march from the PE Center to St. Vincent Health Field (football field) at approximately 9:30 a.m.

Weather

We always plan for an outdoor ceremony, but If severe weather causes the ceremony to be moved indoors to the PE Center, students will meet at 8:45 a.m. in the upper gym of Clare Hall if you are seated on the left side for the commencement ceremony.  Meet in the Clare Hall Cafeteria if you are seated on the right side. You will receive a text or phone message if they ceremony is moved indoors and signs will be posted on the PE Center doors.  The decision to move the ceremony indoors will not be made until Saturday morning.
