Fun with Exotic Animals at the Indianapolis Zoo
The summer can be full of fun with animals and kids when you intern at the Indianapolis Zoo Encounters. Jessica Davis, a senior biology major, is planning on becoming a veterinarian so she loved spending her summer at the Indianapolis Zoo teaching children about snakes, lizards, and skinks, as well as a myriad of farm animals. What fun it is to watch her explain to a six year old, the defense habits of a bearded lizard.
Last summer Jessica interned in a small animal veterinary clinic but now thinks becoming a zoo veterinarian would more fun because of the wide variety of exotic animals needing care.
