Real Life Experience with Indianapolis City Market

Holly Hammond, senior English major, spent her summer developing professional writing skills at the historic Indianapolis City Market, in downtown Indianapolis.

As a summer intern Holly wrote marketing and public relations pieces for the corporation. One of her assignments was to write a story about the City Market for the Indianapolis Star newspaper. Holly says, "This internship has given me first hand knowledge in design and development of professional writing assignments. This has tremendously improved my writing skills and opened new opportunities to network with professional writers."
