Services

Health management for Marian University students includes assessment and treatment of minor acute illnesses. Referral to other appropriate medical providers if warranted is offered. Additionally, health/wellness education, an important element toward optimal wellness, is stressed.

Health Management

  • Asthma
  • Respiratory infections
  • Allergy conditions
  • Sinus and/or ear infections
  • Sore throats
  • Bladder infections
  • Muscle strains
  • Minor lacerations
  • Minor skin rashes

Common Tests

  • Strep test
  • Mononucleosis test
  • Urine analysis via dipstick test
  • PPD test (TB test)

Other Services

  • Basic, fitness physicals—eg. Needed for school-related positions/responsibilities
  • Breathing treatments (nebulizer )
  • Orders for tests (i.e. blood, x-ray)
  • Prescriptions provided as needed

Services for Fee

  • T.B. test: $10
  • Tetanus vaccine (Tdap): $60
  • Influenza vaccine: $20
