Cassie Lomison is in her first season as head coach at Marian College. A native of Greenfield, Indiana, Lomison was a four-year player at Milligan College, an NAIA institution, in Tennessee.
She was named Appalachian Athletic Conference Sportswoman of the Year as a senior and in her four years, she went 48-18 at No. 1 singles. As a junior, Lomison was named the NAIA Region XII Player of the Year. She was the AAC runner-up at No. 1 singles in 2003 and in 2004. In 2003 and 2005, she was the AAC champion at No. 1 doubles.
Her career culminated in 2006 when she was awarded the NAIA ITA/Arthur Ashe Leader and Sportsmanship Award as a senior.
In addition to her duties as head women's tennis coach, Lomison serves the Department of Athletics as administrative assistant. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the Marian College Department of Athletics and resides in Indianapolis.
