INDIANAPOLIS – Marian College head women’s tennis coach Cassie Lomison, who is in her first season, is proud to announce the commitment of Tiffany Schendel, her first signing for 2009-10.

Schendel will graduate from Homestead High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, this spring. She has been a member of the honor roll throughout her high school career and has earned several accolades for her on-court prowess.

She was a member of the team that placed fourth at the IHSAA State Tournament in 2007. She also earned All-Conference first team honors in doubles and was named All-Area in doubles in 2008. Last season, she also picked up an All-State second team selection.

Schendel is planning on majoring in biology and is the daughter of Keith and Diana Schendel.
