INDIANAPOLIS - The Marian College baseball team picked up its first honor of the season as junior pitcher Ricky Parrish (Avon, Indiana/Avon) was named Mid-Central College Conference Pitcher of the Week on Monday.

 

The junior threw two complete games during the week and earned wins in both of those contests. He finished the week with a 3.86 earned run average and allowed just 14 hits in the two games.

 

He also struck out six and walked four in the two outings. His second complete game was a 4-3 victory over #RV Davenport University after he defeated Oakland City University, 11-5, last Tuesday.

 

The Knights head to Indiana Wesleyan on Tuesday afternoon to battle the Wildcats. First pitch for the doubleheader is scheduled for 4 p.m.
