Welcome, Class of 2016!

On Saturday, May 7, 332 graduates participated in Commencement exercises at St.Vincent Field. These new alumni include recipients of Master of Arts in Teaching degrees as well as undergraduate degrees through both the traditional and MAP programs. Degrees were conferred on graduates who completed their coursework in August and December, 2015 as well as May, 2016. In all, we welcome 689 new alumni this year!

Bookstore Now Open in Alumni Hall

The Marian University Bookstore is now open in Alumni Hall. Students can visit the new space to get books and Marian University apparel for the upcoming semester.

Construction on the rest of Alumni Hall is now focused on the interior of the building and getting it ready for students when they return to campus mid-August.

The university is now accepting applications for students interested in working at Starbucks Café, Grille Works, and Papa John’s Pizza, which will make up the food court area of the student center. Training for employees will begin in the next few weeks.

Outside sidewalks, terraces, rain gardens, and other landscaping are well underway and will complete the exterior look of the building.

Alumni Hall will be open to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and visitors in time for classes to begin in August.

Save the Date: Marian University will be hosting an Alumni Hall Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony on Saturday, October 18 at 10:30 a.m. as part of the Homecoming festivities.
