Talent Award for Vocal Performance

The Fine Arts Talent Award for Vocal Performance is available to students with outstanding abilities who agree to be active participants in the Marian University Choir program. This award varies based on the level of commitment of the recipient and position openings within the choir for the current season.

Eligibility

Applicants for the Fine Arts Talent Award for Vocal Performance must:

• Have completed the Marian University admissions application process and been admitted in good standing.
• Participate in an on-campus audition.
• Demonstrate outstanding ability and commitment through the audition process.
• Commit to an educational experience framed within the context of Marian University’s Franciscan values of dignity of the individual, peace and justice, reconciliation, and responsible stewardship.

Application Process

1. Applicants must complete the admissions process to Marian University.
2. Applicants must participate in one of the on-campus auditions scheduled for:

• Friday, February 1, 2013
• Friday, February 15, 2013
• Friday, March 1, 2013

Note: Only in rare or exceptional cases will DVD or video auditions be accepted. On-campus auditions may be scheduled online or by contacting Beverly Day at bday@marian.edu or 317.955.6176.

Selection

Award recipients will be notified of their status in writing.

Renewal

The Fine Arts Talent Award for Vocal Performance is renewable annually based on full-time enrollment and successful fulfillment of the requirements outlined in the Marian University Vocal Performance Participation Agreement.
