Master of Arts in Teaching

Through the Academy for Teaching and Learning Leadership, Marian University offers a Master of Arts  in Teaching (MAT) degree that leads to Indiana teacher certification. One path to the MAT degree is through our national partner programs Teach For America and the Indianapolis Teaching Fellows. The other route is our Masters Bridge to Teaching Program.

Program Requirements

  • A transcript review
  • An undergraduate degree or higher
  • Successful passage of Indiana teacher licensure exams
