After you have received your acceptance packet and information on placement testing the most important thing for you to do is to register for a SOAR day and sign up for any required placement tests. 

Prior to your arrival on your SOAR day you must complete the following:

• Pay the $100 enrollment deposit. 
  You will not be able to meet with an academic advisor or register for classes until this deposit is paid in full. 
• Complete your Housing Contract or Policy Waiver form. 
• Complete the Student Health Form.
  This form is lavender and was included in the Housing Packet you received in the mail.
  We recommend that you fill the form out completely prior to your SOAR day. If you have misplaced this form, you can download and print a copy at http://www.marian.edu/parents/HealthandWellness/Pages/default.aspx.

You may also want to consider bringing the following items to SOAR:
These items are optional

• A notepad and pen
  To take notes and jot down questions throughout the day. And, of course, to write down the e-mail addresses of all of the new friends you make—so that you can e-mail them when you get home!
• Comfortable shoes
  While you will be seated for sessions, there is a good amount of walking throughout the day. 
• A camera
  To take pictures of important buildings, the residence hall where you will live, and all of the fantastic new friends you meet at SOAR!
