Do you know a student that exhibits leadership in church, religious, and community service activities?
Do you know a student that would like to explore their vocation in a theological context—and get a college scholarship?
If you do, then nominate a student to receive information about the San Damiano Scholars program!
The San Damiano Scholars program challenges students to explore their vocation in a theological context and encourages them to make commitments of service to their churches and communities. Students embarking on courses of study in theology, pastoral leadership, religious education, Catholic school education, religiously affiliated healthcare/nursing, parish/church business management, and psychology or music, with a significant theological exploration of vocation spelled out by particular departments are eligible to apply.
Scholars must maintain a 2.50 GPA, participate in monthly meetings, annual retreats, ongoing church, campus or religious involvement, complete at least eight hours of community service monthly, and curricular requirements.
