Students pursuing a career in arts education will find the Marian University program an exciting environment. Students major in fine arts and receive their methods instruction from the Marian University School of Education. The program offers the future art educator a strong foundation, uniting the broad-based curriculum of a liberal arts degree with courses in education, fine arts, and art history. Students graduate with a bachelor of arts degree in fine arts and all of the requirements needed to apply for a state teaching license. This degree prepares the Marian University graduate for entry into the education profession or into graduate school through the development of a professional portfolio.
